Teen boys and happiness!

Towards the end of 2022, a group of dads to teenage boys met on a Saturday after attending a recollection at Bugala Study Centre in Kampala. The question they set themselves to answer was “What can we do jointly to help our sons grow into men of virtue?” Our answer was a dads-run club for teenage boys.

Family Enrichment Uganda (FEU) is a group of married couples that came together in 2004 to organize and carry out Family Enrichment courses for other couples in Uganda. The clear objective was to further strengthen marriages in the Ugandan society. After careful consideration, FEU decided to be affiliated to the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) in order to use IFFD’s case study methodology in carrying out Family Enrichment courses.

Mrs. Edith Katama

On Thursday 15th July at 6:30 pm, Edith Abwooli Katama passed away in Uganda, following a long illness. Edith and her late husband Sylvano Katama are the first members of Opus Dei in Uganda, which they discovered while on exile in Kenya from the early 1980’s.
